How do I add a piece? On the Studio tab, tap + and fill in the details — title, medium, support, size. Your first piece is free.
How do I record a painting’s progress? Open a piece and add progress photos at any stage — underdrawing, dead layer, block-in, glazing, varnish. Each piece keeps a dated timeline, and you can play the stages back as a short reel.
How do I group work into shows or collections? On the Collections tab, tap + to create a collection — a show, a series, a gallery’s stock, a collector’s set — then add pieces to it.
How do I frame and share a piece? Open a piece and choose Frame to set it in a hand-finished frame on a gallery wall, then share the image. Tap Adjust to pinch, drag, or straighten the photo so it sits right.
What’s free, and what is Pentimento Unlimited? The free studio includes one piece and one collection. Pentimento Unlimited is a one-time $9.99 purchase that removes the limits — no subscription. Restore a previous purchase from Settings → Studio access → Restore Purchases.
How do I back up my work or move it to a new phone? Settings → Backup → Back up my studio saves a single file of everything (optionally including photos). On another device, use Restore from backup to bring it all in.
