Glaze Lab — Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 10, 2026

Glaze Lab is built by a working potter for working potters. The shortest possible privacy policy is the truthful one.

What we collect

Nothing.

What we send

Nothing.

Where your data lives

On your device, in your iPhone’s local browser storage. Your recipes, photos, firing logs, glaze tests, clay bodies, materials inventory, and settings never leave your phone unless you choose to export them yourself using the Export feature.

What about photos?

If you attach a photo to a glaze test or recipe, that image is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to any server. We do not have a server.

What about analytics?

There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party trackers in Glaze Lab.

What about purchases?

The one-time Glaze Lab Unlimited purchase is processed entirely by Apple’s StoreKit. Apple sees the purchase. We don’t see anything beyond what Apple shows in our App Store Connect dashboard (anonymized aggregate sales reports).

Will this ever change?

If we ever add features that require sending data off-device — such as optional cloud sync — we will update this policy and put the change behind your explicit consent in the app. We will never quietly start collecting data.
